Lukas Vasilikos

This is a great photo by Lukas Vasilikos. This photo looks like it was supposed to focus on the woman in the centre of the image, however the image is focusing on the man and the woman in the background. The camera seems to be more interested on the activity within the background. The woman who is blurred out is looking away from the two people in the background and it seems like she doesn't care, isn't interested in them or maybe she has feelings for one of them but is forced to look away due to jealousy.

This photo is really interesting because, of the women in the image. The woman on the right has been enlightened. This could be because she is different from other women, and that's why she stands out. The woman who is stood in the light is hidden in the shadows, but it looks like she is stood in the light. the whole image is sort of an illusion as well because the woman in the shadow could be the shadow of the woman in the light.

Johnny Stiletto

This photo is quite unusual. As you can see in the photo that there is a dog standing on its back legs, next to the elderly people in the centre of the image. If you take a quick look at the picture and weren't really focusing on the image itself, then you would see this as a person. I really like this photo because there is a lot of activity. You can see the people crossing the road, cars parked on the street and there seems to be a bike as well on the left. You can't see a lot of traffic on the street which is different from modern day traffic.

This picture by Johnny Stiletto is very blurry. It looks like he has tried to take a picture of two people kissing, but he didn't want them to see him taking the photo. He could have used a technique called 'belly button photography'. The two people in the picture are not aware of what is happening around them and they're focusing on just each other. The man in the photo is holding a coat and a cigarette which could imply that he was walking home or to another venue. I really like this photo because Johnny tries to capture moments without being seen.

This photo was taken by Johnny Stiletto. I like this photo because he waited for the right time to get a photo of a woman with a cigarette hanging out of her mouth. The woman is also giving the camera a rude look because she caught the photographer taking a picture. No one else in this photo has noticed the camera but this woman. I like how its also at an angle and a bit blury because it seems like the photo was rushed and the photographer didnt want to be seen taking a photo.

This image is by Lukas Vasilikos. I really like this photo because of the two people at the front of the photo. these two people look like they are conjoined which gives the photo sort of an illusion. They are also in the shadows and could show that they are hiding away from the boy who is running. The boy running looks like he is running away from the two people in the shadows and is staying in the light so that the people in the shadows are unable to reach him.

Shane Gray

This photo was taken by Shane Gray. I really like this photo because of the woman's dress. Her dress really stands out from everything else in the photo because everyone else seems to be wearing dark clothing and this is what makes the woman stand out more. The womans dress also matches the woman's trousers in the background and other red objects that you can see in the background also which contrast with the whole image.

This is one of the best photos that I have taken in my street photography project. The lights on the ceiling are in line with the freezers and shelves on the left and right. The old people in this photo bring the whole image together because some of these types of people enjoy shopping. The lines on the ceiling and the walls also connect with the whole picture. I really like this picture as the elderly people bring the photo to life. This is also inspired by Martin Parr as he has a similar photo which is below. When I look at the photo that I have taken, it makes me think of Martin Parr's photo.

This is a really good photo that I took myself. I had to get my friend to hold up a leaf to the car as both of the colours match. I really like this photo because a lot of the colours match to the Autumn season like the leaf, car and lights in the petrol station. This could have been improved if i didn't have to get my friend to hold up a leaf in front of the car.

This is a photo of a Beres pork sandwich shop. This is a really good photo because you can see the food in the display window very clear and you can also see women inside the shop purchasing something. I also like the little triangle flags that go across the window advertising how their food tastes. The tiles on the outside under the window make the shop old fashioned looking as they look like they have attracted a lot of dirt.
